PTE stands for Pearson Test of English which is a computer based English proficiency test for study abroad and immigration. PTE Academic is accepted by thousands of universities is also accepted for visa purposes by the Australian and New Zealand governments.
PTE Module
PTE Academic assesses real-life, academic English, so you will hear a range of accents in the test, from British and American to non-native speakers,so you will be exposed to the kind of accents you will experience in regular daily existence.
There are three principle parts to the test: Speaking and Writing (together), Reading and Listening. There is an optional 10-minute break between the Reading and Listening parts.

Listening
Approximately 30 minutes of listening and additional 10 minutes to transfer answers from question booklet to answer sheet.
Writing
Exactly 60 minutes. Recommended 20 minutes for task 1 and 40 minutes for task 2.
Reading
Exactly 60 minutes including answer transfer time.
Speaking
It is the last part and is taken in three-part oral interview. Here in task one you will be giving introduction about yourself to the interviewer, for the second task you will be given a topic and a minute to prepare for it and talk about it for 1-2 minutes. And for the third task you will have two way discussion with the interviewer about the issues related to the topic in the card.
